Harvey Nash USA has been engaged to find a talented supply chain professional to lead sourcing and operational initiatives across electromechanical commodities including metals, plastics, ICs, PCBAs, and related hardware components. This role partners closely with Engineering, Planning, Sourcing, Logistics, Product, and Finance teams to drive operational excellence, cost optimization, and supply chain resilience, timelines, and site execution.
Job Title: Supply Chain Manager
Location: North Reading, MA
Duration: 8 Months with possible extension.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Drive sourcing strategies, supplier management, and cost reduction initiatives
- Manage BOMs, component readiness, supply continuity, and lifecycle planning
- Support NPI (New Product Introduction) and sustaining operations execution
- Lead lead-time reduction, shortage mitigation, and capacity planning initiatives
- Coordinate ECO implementation and post-launch supply chain changes
- Develop analytical reports across cost, supplier readiness, quality, and delivery metrics
- Drive scenario planning, risk mitigation, and operational improvement programs
Ideal Background:
- 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, or product operations
- Preferred: Experience in robotics, consumer electronics, or technology-intensive manufacturing industries.
- Experience with electromechanical commodities, metals, plastics, ICs, PCBAs, and hardware supply chains
- Strong understanding of NPI, BOM management, and product lifecycle support
- Experience working with ERP/PLM tools such as SAP, Oracle, or Agile
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional supply chain initiatives in global environments
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum hourly wage for this position is $52 - $57 Hourly on W2.
