Job Summary
If you're interested in an Entry Level Data Entry job, then this is the best role for you! This position is based on-site at Woodland, supporting the PVP Scientist during summer field trials. Technicians will collect data on plant characteristics, input data, and assist with general lab maintenance. Fieldwork is required to ensure accurate and timely data collection.
Job Description
- Assess plant parts using calibration guides to collect high-quality, reliable data on fruit and vegetable characteristics.
- Input data into the data management system using computers or tablets.
- Assist the PVP Scientist in assessing plant maturity and completing data collection on time.
Skills Required
- Familiarity with computer programs for data input
- Comfortable and willing to work in the field
- Strong attention to detail for accurate data collection
- Background in plant science and prior experience with data collection is preferred
Education/Training/Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Agriculture, Botany, Biology, or Horticulture
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a drug screening and criminal background checks
- Work Shift: 08:00 AM
Pay Rate/Salary
- Estimated Salary: $14.00 to $21.43 per hour. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors.
