Principal Investigator – CNS Clinical Trials
Locations: New Jersey & New York
We are partnered with a Contract Research Organisation to identify a Psychiatrist with clinical research experience to serve as a Principal Investigator for CNS-focused clinical trials across sites in NJ and NY. This role provides medical oversight, ensures protocol compliance, and supports high-quality study execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee clinical trials at the site level, ensuring GCP, regulatory, and protocol adherence.
- Conduct clinical assessments, safety evaluations, and ongoing patient interactions.
- Review and implement study protocols; determine patient eligibility and support enrolment.
- Collaborate with site teams, sponsors, and monitors to ensure data quality and timely study delivery.
- Participate in investigator meetings, training, and regulatory discussions as needed.
Requirements
- MD/DO, Board-Certified Psychiatrist (or eligible).
- Prior experience as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator (industry or academic).
- Background in CNS clinical research preferred.
- Strong patient-facing skills and ability to interpret and execute study protocols.
- Eligible for medical licensure in NJ and NY.
