Position Summary:
Highly proficient in strategic marketing, market research, and capability-driven communication to strengthen brand presence and support commercial growth. The ideal candidate has experience marketing complex pharmaceutical technologies and can work effectively with cross-functional teams including R&D, Operations, and Business Development. This role requires technical understanding of formulation and processing technologies such as granulation, spray drying, coating, taste-masking, and modified-release systems.
A successful candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a data-driven approach, and an ability to translate technical capabilities into compelling marketing strategies, content, and customer-facing materials.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute strategic marketing plans aligned with company growth objectives
• Build and manage a robust capability-oriented marketing roadmap
• Generate market research, competitive intelligence, and technology landscape analyses
• Manage brand positioning, messaging, and visibility across assigned markets
• Create sales enablement tools, capability briefs, and technical marketing content
• Lead development of white papers, case studies, presentations, and campaign materials
• Support digital marketing activities including website updates, SEO, analytics, and campaigns
• Collaborate closely with Business Development to support customer outreach
• Develop pricing, positioning, and promotional recommendations for new technologies
• Partner with technical SMEs to ensure accuracy and clarity of scientific content
• Present marketing insights, strategy updates, and performance reports routinely
• Plan and support participation in conferences, trade shows, and customer events
• Track KPIs, analyse performance metrics, and adjust strategies as needed
• Maintain strong internal relationships to promote technology platforms
• Support the promotion of advanced technologies including:
– Granulation & particle engineering
– Spray drying & micro-encapsulation
– Taste masking systems
– Controlled-release & modified-release technologies
– Coating, fluid-bed processes, and formulation development solutions
Requirements:
• Previous experience in marketing within CDMO, pharma, biotech, or technical manufacturing industries
• Strong technical communication and content development skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with CRM systems, digital marketing platforms, and analytics tools
• Demonstrated experience developing marketing strategies and capability messaging
• Ability to travel approximately 25–35% to support commercial and marketing activities
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical technologies and processes
• Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration
• Proactive, positive, and able to drive high-impact outcomes
Education / Experience:
• BA or BS in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree a plus)
• 5–7 years of experience in pharmaceutical, CDMO, OTC, nutraceutical, or related technical markets
• Proven track record in strategic marketing, market research, and capability-driven content development
