Drive Smarter Collections Through Data-Driven Strategy
Join a high-growth fintech that’s redefining how consumers access — and manage — credit through intelligent, analytics-led decisioning. As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst focused on Collections Strategy, you’ll play a pivotal role in optimizing how the company supports customers through delinquency and recovery, balancing empathy, efficiency, and performance across the collections lifecycle.
The Role
You’ll own analytics and strategy across the back end of the credit lifecycle — from early delinquency through charge-off and recoveries. Working hand-in-hand with senior risk leaders, you’ll develop, test, and enhance strategies that improve cure rates, minimize losses, and drive operational excellence across collections channels.
Day to Day, You Will:
- Design, test, and deploy collections and recovery strategies that improve customer outcomes and portfolio performance.
- Analyze delinquency trends, roll rates, and recovery curves using SQL and Python to identify performance drivers and early warning signals.
- Partner with operations, data science, and finance to bring analytical insights into real-world collections execution.
- Monitor portfolio behavior to continuously optimize segmentation, treatment paths, and contact strategies.
- Contribute to the governance framework for collections policy and performance measurement.
What You Bring
- 6 years of experience in collections strategy, credit risk analytics, or portfolio management (cards, personal loans, or consumer lending preferred).
- Hands-on experience with SQL (Python or R a plus).
- A solid grasp of collections and recovery dynamics — from early-stage interventions to post-charge-off recoveries.
- A commercial, data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insight into strategy.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills — able to influence business decisions through evidence and clarity.
Why Join?
- High-impact role in a mission-driven fintech scaling rapidly.
- Exposure to senior leaders and full lifecycle credit strategy, from acquisition to collections.
- Competitive pay, performance bonus, and a clear path for growth.
- A collaborative culture that rewards innovation, ownership, and curiosity.
