Analytics Engineer

We're conducting a confidential search for an Analytics Engineer to join a rapidly growing technology organization. This role will lead the design and development of scalable data models, data products, and analytics solutions that drive strategic decision-making across the business.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable data models that support business operations and analytics initiatives
- Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other business functions to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, ingestion frameworks, and analytics workflows
- Create trusted, reliable, and extensible datasets that enable self-service reporting and advanced analytics
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through data and automation
- Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders by providing insights and recommendations from complex datasets
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to establish data best practices and support enterprise data platform initiatives
- Drive data quality, governance, and scalability across analytics systems
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or a similar analytics-focused role
- Advanced SQL expertise and strong Python programming skills
- Experience with modern data platforms and tools such as dbt, Redshift, Looker/Tableau, and Palantir Foundry
- Proven ability to build scalable data models and data pipelines
- Strong communication skills with experience partnering directly with business stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Compensation
- IC3: Up to $170,000 base salary equity
- Senior Level: Up to $220,000 base salary equity

- Must be located in or near Irvine, CA
