Position Title: Logistics Operations Coordinator

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Operations Coordinator to support daily logistics operations, including customer service, dispatch coordination, and communication with carriers, brokers, and customs partners. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment. Experience in freight brokerage or transportation operations is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily logistics operations, including dispatching and shipment scheduling.
  • Communicate with customers to provide shipment updates, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of service.
  • Liaise with carriers, brokers, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure smooth transportation and cargo movement.
  • Track and monitor shipment status and update records in internal systems accurately.
  • Prepare and process operational documents and perform data entry as needed.
  • Identify operational issues and proactively work with relevant parties to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Support reporting and operational summaries for management.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics, freight brokerage, dispatch, or transportation operations (preferred).
  • Experience working with carriers, brokers, or customs-related partners is a plus.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
