About the Role
Our Client operates a skincare brand and a global beauty commerce platform and is opening its first U.S. flagship store in New York. The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in day-to-day store operations, help achieve sales goals, and ensure store standards for customer service, inventory, and visual merchandising. This is a full-time, on-site role with flexible scheduling requirements.

Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in overseeing day-to-day store operations and achieving sales goals
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure a premium customer experience
- Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure visual merchandising standards align with brand guidelines
- Manage employee schedules, attendance, and assist with staff training and performance support
- Prepare and organize operational documents and reporting materials for headquarters
- Conduct cash audits, implement loss prevention measures, and ensure compliance with company standards
- Utilize retail systems, POS, and reporting tools
- Work flexible schedules based on business needs, including opening/closing shifts, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a management role (Assistant Manager level or above) at a setup/launch store; experience in New York (preferred)
- Background in beauty, brand flagship, or high-end consumer goods retail
- Proven experience in HR functions (scheduling, attendance management) and inventory management
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is required to effectively communicate with headquarters
- Experience in a flagship store or beauty retail environment (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a passion for client engagement (preferred)

Compensation
- Salary: USD 60,000 β 85,000 (negotiable up to $90,000 based on experience)
- Employment Status: Full-Time
- Hours: 40 hours per week
