The Compliance Officer serves as the initial point of contact on legal aspects of the institution, including policy, contracts, litigation, and other legal matters. This position is designated as the College’s:
Title IX Coordinator
ADA/504 Coordinator
First Amendment Officer
FOIA Officer
This is an exempt, professional staff position reporting to the VP, HR, Risk & Compliance.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Business Administration/Management, Compliance, or Legal Studies
Minimum of 3 years of compliance management experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Title IX
- ADA/504
- FERPA
- FOIA
- Regulatory compliance
- Constitutional principles
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple complex, time-sensitive projects
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with standard office equipment
Employees must reside in Maryland or contiguous states (DE, PA, VA, WV, or DC). Non-residents are expected to relocate.
