| Job Description | The Nursing Academic Progression and Clinical Coordinator (APCC) is a dual focus role. Clinical coordination responsibilities include arranging clinical experiences which meet the various learning needs of students. The coordinator collaborates with division leadership and course coordinators to determine appropriate placement experiences, and with clinical agencies to procure and maintain clinical placement sites. Duties include, but are not limited to, researching and recommending appropriate agencies for clinical assignments and practicum experiences; assist in orienting clinical faculty; maintain all student requirements for clinical facilities; working with current university partners to increase seamless academic progress for nursing students, including developing new ATB opportunities; working with partners to execute their respective portions of ATB curriculum; meeting with and advising ATB students and prospective students; maintaining web pages educate nursing students about academic progression opportunities at HCC. Academic progression responsibilities include managing all aspects of the Associate to Bachelor (ATB) programs including the ATB website and university partnerships. This position is Cohen Scholar eligible. This is a full-time exempt position. Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia; non-residents are expected to relocate to meet this requirement. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States, as the College does not offer Visa sponsorship for this position. |
