What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Unit Manager position at Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing?
Nestled in the seaside town of Southampton, NY, The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a Unit Coordinator to join their team. The Unit Coordinator will work as part of the interdisciplinary team to ensure that high-quality compassionate and person-centered care is being provided to all residents. This position is Monday-Friday.
The unit manager
- Must hold a current Registered Professional Nurse’s license in the State of New York
- Should have good managerial, organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills
- Should have leadership qualities that motivate and direct the nursing staff
- Will direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility for assigned unit under the direction of Nursing Supervisor
- Will coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure all aspects of resident care is maintained
- Long term care experience is preferred, but not required
