What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Hampton Inn?
We are seeking qualified candidates for the position of Maintenance Technician.
This position requires the maintenance of our properties to be attractive, safe, clean and at the highest of operational performance. Achieve high levels of Guest satisfaction. Assures heating, cooling, ventilation, security and fire alarm systems kept in good working order. Maintain, company equipment, and tools in good working condition. Vacuum, dust and clean common areas.
Perform general hotel maintenance including, but not limited to: replacing filters and light equipment, painting, plumbing, electrical services and light snow removal or landscaping.
Requirements:
- Basic reading, writing, arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through 2 years experience or a 2-year trade school degree or certificate program.
- Must possess accuracy and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skill. Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Personal Characteristics: Organized, team player, customer service orientated.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
