Front Desk Agent/ Night audit

Hampton Inn Muskegon by Hilton is seeking a Friendly and Professional Front Desk Agent for 2nd and 3rd shift to join our 25-person strong team. This position will start off part time, but could become full time.Our location is at 1401 E. Ellis Rd, Muskegon MI 49444. Our ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The position is crucial in creating memorable experiences for travelers and requires strong communication skills, attention to detail and a passion for being hospitable. Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm demeanor.
• Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently and accurately.
• Handle guests inquiry, requests and complaints in a timely manner, ensuring guests satisfaction.
• Process reservations and manage room assignments using hotel management property system.
• Run night audit.
• Clean work area as needed to maintain a tidy work environment
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guests experiences.

Qualifications

• Friendly attitude even when dealing with disgruntled employees and guests.
• Responsible and proven ability to maintain scheduling commitments, as well as be ON TIME.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to problem solve quickly concerns customers and make it right!
• Good communication skills with customers
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs if needed
• Flexible with schedule able to work 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) and 3rd shift (11pm-7am)
