Responsibilities
- Operate laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and specialty cleaning equipment with precision and care
- Sort linens, garments, and fabrics based on color, material, and cleaning requirements
- Perform cleaning tasks including spot treating stains and inspecting items for damage or wear
- Handle dry cleaning processes when applicable, ensuring proper handling of delicate or specialized items
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by organizing supplies and ensuring equipment is properly maintained
- Follow safety procedures and use protective gear during all cleaning activities
- Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages or maintenance needs
Experience
- Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal
- Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
