Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a spotless environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and recreational facilities to uphold hotel standards.
• Perform floor care tasks including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and applying appropriate cleaning solutions for different surfaces.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
• Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Report maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
• Adhere to hotel policies regarding sanitation standards, confidentiality, and guest privacy at all times.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing surfaces.
• Familiarity with hotel operations and hospitality industry standards is highly desirable.
• Ability to efficiently manage time while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond to guest requests professionally.
• Experience with housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus.
