Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team at our esteemed hotel. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during the night shift, providing exceptional guest services while performing essential accounting tasks. This position requires a blend of hospitality management skills, attention to detail, and strong customer service abilities.

Duties

• Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in billing and payments
• Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that arise during the night shift
• Handle multi-line phone systems efficiently, ensuring prompt responses to calls and messages
• Maintain guest relations by fostering a friendly environment and assisting with special requests or concerns
• Prepare daily reports summarizing occupancy rates, revenue, and other key performance indicators for management review
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery throughout the hotel

Experience

• Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality is preferred
• Familiarity with night audit processes is advantageous
• Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests
• Strong background in customer service and guest relations, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
• Experience with front desk operations in a resort or hotel setting is highly desirable
