Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Houseman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across hotel or facility premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet care to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal
- Assist with furniture moving, setup for events, and other light maintenance tasks as needed
- Restock supplies such as towels, linens, toiletries, and cleaning products to ensure availability
- Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning
- Prior hotel experience or background in hospitality is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
