What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at Hampton by Hilton?
We are looking to add to our housekeeping team starting in April
Housekeeping Overview:
First impressions are everything! As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will have the opportunity to create lasting memories for every guest, ensuring guestrooms are comfortable, inviting, and clean. A housekeeping attendant promotes a positive image of the property, ensuring a great guest experience.
What you will be doing:
Room attendants are responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms to provide a pleasant and comfortable experience for guests. They ensure that all rooms are inviting and clean and address all guest requests.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
- Greeting guests and responding to queries.
- Changing bed linen and making beds.
- Replacing used towels and other bathroom amenities, such as shampoo and soap.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Emptying trash containers.
- Cleaning public areas, such as corridors.
- Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs.
- Updating the status of guest rooms to Supervisors
- Handle laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Returning and restocking cleaning supplies at shift end.
Job Requirements:
- Have a keen eye for detail, time management, and great customer service skills.
- Pleasant and friendly demeanor.
- Able to work as a team and independently.
- Ability to bed, squat, push ,pull, lift 30 lbs.
- Ability to work an irregular work schedule
- Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
- Physical mobility and stamina.
- Ability to follow verbal & written instructions.
YOU MUST:

- Have reliable transportation
- Be ok with cleaning up grossness that can include bodily waste
- Be available to work a variety of hours Sun β Sat between 8AM & 6PM
