Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures to uphold hygiene standards.
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, linens, towels, and other supplies to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Perform floor care tasks including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining cleanliness in all areas of the property.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and safety.
- Maintain cleanliness of public spaces such as hallways, lobbies, and elevators to provide a consistently welcoming environment.
- Follow all safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use while adhering to health regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality roles with a focus on housekeeping or custodial duties.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques for various surfaces including carpet cleaning and hard floor maintenance.
- Familiarity with hotel or industrial cleaning standards and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts.
Pay: $14.50 - $15.50 per hour
