What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at Sherwood Motel?
The Sherwood Motel located in downtown Wellsboro is seeking friendly and outgoing individuals to work in our Housekeeping Department.
Ideal candidates should be able to work in a fast paced environment while providing high levels of cleanliness. Candidates should also be able to interact with guests and address guest concerns/requests in a prompt and friendly manner.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Daily cleaning of guest rooms.
- Replenishing amenities in guest rooms, such as towels and toiletries.
- Performing a variety of cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
- Laundry – washing, folding, and putting away.
- Assisting guests as needed.
- Seasonal Tasks.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Work in a fast paced environment while providing high levels of cleanliness
- Ability to lift, push and pull (25 lbs)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $13.50 per hour
