Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms.
- Handle laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and guest clothing with care and efficiency.
- Manage front desk operations by greeting guests warmly, checking them in and out promptly, and addressing inquiries or requests with professionalism.
- Assist guests with luggage handling, provide information about hotel amenities, and respond swiftly to emergency procedures or guest concerns.
- Conduct janitorial tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping floors, and ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards.
- Support hotel housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues, managing custodial supplies, and adhering to hotel safety procedures including heavy lifting protocols.Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services; janitorial or industrial cleaning experience is highly valued.
- Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and the proper handling of chemical agents.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and other janitorial tools.
- Prior hospitality experience is preferred
