- Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to process linens, uniforms, and textiles.
- Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, loading, unloading, and folding items with precision.
- Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning work areas, equipment, and tools regularly to ensure a safe environment.
- Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport heavy loads efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Apply laundry detergents and cleaning agents correctly, following manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines.
- Perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of laundry loads while maintaining proper ergonomic practices.
- Ensure all laundry services meet quality standards by inspecting garments for stains, damages, or fabric care issues.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and pushing carts.
