Duties
- Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
- Sort laundry items according to color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
- Perform dry cleaning procedures for delicate or special fabrics as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by organizing supplies and ensuring equipment is sanitized regularly
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is necessary
- Follow safety protocols during all laundry processes to prevent accidents or damage
- Assist with other housekeeping tasks when required to support overall hotel operations
Skills
- Proven experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping preferred
- Strong knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning methods
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure linens are spotless and properly sorted
- Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and moving heavy loads throughout shifts
- Reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Familiarity with hotel cleaning standards and guest service expectations is a plus
