Duties

• Assist the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing all housekeeping functions across the property, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Supervise and motivate housekeeping staff, providing clear guidance on cleaning procedures, safety regulations, and sanitation protocols.
• Coordinate daily staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage for industrial cleaning, commercial cleaning, laundry services, and custodial tasks.
• Monitor cleaning and sanitation management processes to ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of work areas to maintain cleanliness, organization, and adherence to quality benchmarks.
• Train team members on proper use of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures to promote a safe working environment.
• Support management in implementing new cleaning techniques, managing supplies inventory, and maintaining budget efficiency.

Skills

• Proven experience in custodial work, industrial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management with a strong focus on sanitation and safety regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering teamwork and high performance.
• Excellent managerial communication skills to coordinate tasks clearly and motivate team members.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to address guest needs professionally and promptly.
• Knowledge of janitorial practices, laundry operations, and commercial cleaning techniques.
• Leadership qualities with experience in team supervision and management roles within a hospitality or custodial setting.
• Familiarity with management of cleaning & sanitation processes, safety protocols, and janitorial equipment maintenance.
