Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Onshore QA Lead with strong expertise in Salesforce functional testing, Playwright-based automation, and leadership capabilities to manage QA activities across multiple releases. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality delivery through robust test strategies, automation frameworks, and effective stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Salesforce QA Testing Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for Salesforce applications.
- Validate workflows, customizations, and data integrity across Salesforce modules.
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to clarify requirements and resolve defects. Playwright Automation Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright. Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Ensure automation coverage for critical end-to-end scenarios and optimize execution time. Onshore QA Lead Duties Act as the primary QA point of contact for onshore activities.
- Coordinate with offshore teams for test planning, execution, and defect triage.
- Define and track QA KPIs (coverage, defect leakage, automation ROI).
- Manage regression windows and resource allocation based on release priorities.
- Provide daily/weekly status reports to stakeholders and ensure timely delivery
Required Skills & Experience:
- Technical Skills Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, custom objects).
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation.
- Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, API testing, and SQL.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- QA Expertise Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in test strategy, planning, and execution for complex enterprise applications.
- Leadership & Communication Ability to lead QA efforts across distributed teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and reporting skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce certification (Admin or QA-related). Experience in other automation tools (Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and integration testing.
