What are the responsibilities and job description for the Beverage Cart Attendant position at HALLBROOK COUNTRY CLUB?
SUMMARY: The beverage cart attendant is responsible for delivering professional beverage services to golfing members and guests.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver beverages to golfing members and guests
- Maintain a clean cart and beverage area
- Dissemble cart and make sure all alcoholic beverages are removed after each shift
- Stock and maintain inventory cart for each shift
- Properly track member charges
- Practice safety and courtesy on and off the golf course
- Attend to the Ladies’ Locker Room on select day, including setup, restocking, and food & beverage service
- Other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience is preferred
- Prior experience as a server/bartender is preferred
- Basic knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and of general drink recipes strongly preferred
- Impeccable grooming and professional appearance and demeanor
- Excellent customer service and strong communications skills
- Outgoing and friendly personality with lots of self-confidence
- Sense of urgency, ability to work with focus independently and strong work ethic
- Ability to use computers and related technology efficiently
- Time management and organization skills: ability to multitask in fast paced environment
- Judgment and problem-solving skills
- Attentive to detail
- Predictable and reliable attendance is required.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop during entire shift
- Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry and stoop
- Frequently wash hands
- Regular and predictable attendance is required – must be reliable
- Ability to move or lift as much as much as twenty pounds
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and in written form
- May operate in extreme weather conditions walking and standing
- Required to work both in and outside in high heat summer temperatures
- Working in around lots of people where noise levels can be excessive
- Flexible and changing working hours – must be available per business needs
- Schedule will vary based on weather and the needs of the business, particularly for special events, promotions, etc.
