What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Fitness Instructor position at HALLBROOK COUNTRY CLUB?
SUMMARY:
The Group Fitness Instructor (GFI) is responsible for designing and leading safe, engaging, and effective group fitness classes in alignment with the class format and description. The instructor will provide appropriate modifications to accommodate participants of varying fitness levels, ensuring an inclusive and supportive environment. Additionally, the GFI will represent the club in a positive and professional manner by warmly welcoming participants as they arrive and thanking them as they leave, fostering a sense of community and motivation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Arrive on time for all scheduled classes.
- Develops, designs, and choregraphs original class routines, incorporating fresh ideas, concepts, and movements tailored to the specific class format.
- Cleans or replaces equipment after use during and after each class and assists in the general cleanliness and upkeep of the fitness center
- Follows all Club policies and rules to ensure a safe and comfortable environment
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Candidates must a Certified Group Fitness Instructor through NSCA, ACSM, NASM or other approved associations
- Outgoing and engaging personality
- Ability to positively promote classes, lessons, and other training resources at Hallbrook Country Club
- Must possess at the time of application and maintain a valid CPR/AED certification
