Accounts Payable Manager
Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, Inc is a multi-location, full-service trailer dealership with an immediate opening at its corporate offices in West Berlin, NJ. The ideal candidate is service, detail oriented and highly proficient in data entry and has exceptional analytical skills. The primary role in the position is managing Accounts Payable processes including but not limited to recording, processing, and reconciling accounts payable invoices.

Responsibilities:
- Review vendor invoices for accuracy and general ledger coding.
- Supervise a team of 3-4 employees, including training and motivation.
- Reconciliation and processing of credit card transactions.
- Investigate accounts payable issues and ensure processes are accurate, streamlined and within Company guidelines.
- Respond to incoming calls and emails from vendors and inter-company personnel regarding payments and account reconciliations.
- Maintain and create new vendor accounts, including maintenance and annual processing of 1099’s.
- Approve & maintain current vendor certificates of insurance.
- Maintain accurate databases for timely reporting.
- Ensure the timely and accurate Month End closing of Accounts Payable, including quarterly accruals.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must have 5 years’ experience with accounts payable or relevant work experience.
- Management experience preferred.
- Must have excellent 10-key skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, where emphasis is placed on accuracy.
- Must be able to manage time constraints and deadlines.
- Must have excellent communication skills, be organized and service oriented.
- Must be able to work in a team structure, as well as independently.
- Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office.
- Banking experience a plus.
- Must pass a standard pre-employment drug test.
