HighlightsLocation: Alexandria, VAPosition Type: ContractHourly / Salary: Based on experience ($16/hour)Residency Status: US CitizenScheduleStatus: Full-time (40 hours per week) or Part-time (14–24 hours per week and/or on-call)Shifts: Various (8am–4pm, 4pm–12am, 12am–8am)End Date: TBD (1–3 month assignment)Length of Assignment: TBD (1–3 month assignment) Position DescriptionThe Resident Services Specialist provides direct support and guidance to individuals residing in the homeless shelter and hypothermia support locations, ensuring their well-being and progress toward self-sufficiency. This role involves assisting residents with daily needs, addressing immediate concerns, monitoring compliance with shelter rules, supporting resource distribution, and de-escalating conflicts.
