Overall, the Training intern supports the needs of the Training Department. The Training intern will coordinate and support all aspects of employee training programs, including preparing materials, managing logistics (catering, travel, room setup), maintaining attendance and certifications, and other related tasks.

Requirements
- Required Education
- HS Diploma
- Required Experience
- Working toward a degree or focus in HR Development, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a similar field.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Individual must be able to maintain professionalism and overall model conduct.
- Individual must be detail oriented and have good organizational skills.
- Must obtain a valid drivers license and will need own transportation regularly (3-4 times a week) to run errands, pickup food, grocery store trips and other related tasks
- Candidates must be able to lift 25 lbs.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Prepares materials for training - sign-in sheets, course evaluations, binders, handouts
- Logs certifications in internal company drives
- Places catering orders for training to accommodate 30-40 people (online/email/over phone) and ensure accuracy and timeliness of orders
- Sets up training room/replenishes drinks/food throughout training sessions
- Training coordination – inviting personnel to training, administering calendar invites, tracking registration and maintaining attendance, maintaining electronic offerings, registering employees for training, booking any hotels or transportation needed, and overall coordination of employees attending training
- Regularly communicates with company employees to remind them of their scheduled training, to register for training and pick up any training certifications (email/phone calls)
- Assist with training statistics and data to support the department
- Assists with managing the Learning Management System (LMS) – managing attendance, ensuring training completions and enrollment, testing courses before publishing, and overall ensuring a seamless LMS experience for employees
