Core responsibilities
- Project Implementation: Manage and lead Sage 100 implementation projects, from initial discovery to final go-live.
- Client Interaction: Conduct discovery meetings to gather client requirements, perform business process mapping, and create Statements of Work.
- System Configuration: Lead configuration sessions and customize the software to meet specific client needs.
- Training and Support: Develop training documentation and lead training sessions for end-users. Provide ongoing support and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a Subject Matter Expert in sales calls, assist with pre-sales activities, and contribute to proposals.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and utilizing project management methodologies.
- Data Migration: Assist with data migration and user acceptance testing as part of the implementation process.
Essential skills and qualifications
- Experience: 5 years of experience as a Sage 100 consultant ERP system.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in Sage 100 manufacturing modules, including Bill of Materials (BOM), Work Order processing, and Material Requirement Planning (MRP).
- Business Acumen: Advanced understanding of manufacturing, accounting, inventory management, and common industry practices.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities to develop innovative solutions for complex client challenges.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, listening, and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients and internal teams.
- Project Management: Experience with project scoping, planning, and following structured implementation processes.
- Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and CRM tools.
