Roles & Responsibilities
- Allocate costs of labor, materials, and overhead to product costing.
- Calculate production and overhead rates for costing systems and pricing models.
- Track productivity within production areas.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and comply with accounting policies, procedures, & controls.
- Support inventory accuracy through material standard costing and inventory testing.
- Create dashboards and reports using PowerBI to support internal decision making.
- Work cross-functionally with IT to source and provide proper data sets for dashboards/reports.
- Maintain data integrity and consistency across dashboards/reports.
- Support internal/external audit requests.
- Work on special projects as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 5-10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience in manufacturing/construction environment.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience building reports with PowerBI (or comparable data visualization software).
- Experience or knowledge of databases and ability to write SQL a plus.
- Self-directed, able to work independently or in a team
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
