About Grey Parrot Systems
Grey Parrot Systems (GPARROT) is a women-owned, BEP-certified IT services firm headquartered in Naperville, IL. We partner with mid-market enterprises to deliver AI-first, governance-driven digital transformation. This is not a pixel-pushing role. At GPARROT, our UX/UI Designer sits at the intersection of user research, product thinking, and AI-accelerated design. You will use AI design tools — v0, Galileo AI, Uizard, Figma AI, or similar — to rapidly prototype ideas, iterate on feedback, and deliver polished, production-ready designs for enterprise and AI-powered applications. If you design with intention, move fast with AI, and care deeply about how real users experience technology — this role is for you.
Must-Have Skills
- 4 years of UX/UI design experience — product design, web, or enterprise applications
- Proficiency in Figma — components, auto layout, design systems, and prototyping
- Hands-on use of AI design tools — v0, Galileo AI, Uizard, Figma AI, or similar — to accelerate design workflows
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking and visual craft
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into design decisions
- Ability to design for both web and mobile — responsive layouts and component-based systems
- Strong communication skills — able to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders
- Experience designing for AI-powered products — LLM interfaces, chatbots, agentic dashboards
- Familiarity with front-end development — HTML, CSS, React basics — to collaborate closely with engineers
- Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
- Motion design or micro-interaction experience
- Portfolio featuring enterprise SaaS or B2B product design
What You'll Do
- Design intuitive, accessible, and visually polished UX/UI for enterprise and AI-powered applications

- Build and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries in Figma
- Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Collaborate closely with product owners, engineers, and AI developers to ensure design feasibility and accuracy
- Translate wireframes and prototypes into detailed, developer-ready design specs
- Design AI-powered interfaces — chatbots, dashboards, agentic workflows, and data visualizations
