What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate heavy equipment to move dirt, rock, materials, and equipment
- Spread, smooth, and level materials on roadbeds and job sites
- Read grade and adjust machine settings as needed
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections for safety and mechanical issues
- Coordinate with crew members using hand and audio signals
- Inspect, clean, maintain, and assist with minor equipment repairs
- Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when needed
- Work outdoors in all seasons and changing weather conditions
- Follow all company safety rules, policies, and procedures
- Complete additional tasks as directed by supervisors
What We’re Looking For
- 3 years of experience in the civil construction industry
- 2 years of verifiable equipment operating experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel to multiple job sites
- Able to pass pre-employment screening (drug screen and background check)
- Strong work ethic and team-first mindset
- Takes safety seriously and communicates well with others
- Reliable and able to work in fast-paced environments
