45-2091.00 Agricultural Equipment Operators: Workers will drive and control farm equipment to support agricultural activities such as tilling soil; planting, cultivating and harvesting crops. May operate equipment to perform post-harvest tasks such as husking, shelling threshing. Load and unload crops or materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts and transfer augers. Workers will mix specified materials or chemicals and dump solutions, Powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery. Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using hand sprayers. observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions.

Workers may be requested to submit to random drug or alcohol tests at no cost to the worker. Failure to comply with the request or testing positive may result in immediate termination. Requires one month of verifiable prior farmworker experience in the crop activities listed.
