Greenway Kia East is looking to hire an automotive experienced Shop Foreman. The Shop Foreman will be responsible for supervising technicians, overseeing maintenance service, and ensuring work is completed effectively. This person will ensure that repairs are performed correctly and efficiently by qualified technicians and that the service department maintains a consistently high level of customer satisfaction.

Job Description:
- Overseeing maintenance services.
- Dispatch and prioritize ROs and Repairs.
- Help Technicians with mechanical related issues.
- Be involved in comebacks and repeat visits.
- Train and assist new Technicians with CDK and FMCDealer.
- Help get other Technicians certified.
- Assist Service Manager by monitoring shop supplies and special tool needs.
- Train and assist Technicians to perform proper UCI vehicles.
- Meet monthly goals set up by GM and/or Service Manager.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- At least one year’s experience as a shop foreman.
- Good knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- ASE Certification or Graduated from an associated degree program in auto maintenance and repair.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the repair and diagnosis of engines (gas and diesel), power train to include differentials, transmissions, clutches, drive shafts, PTO’s, wheel ends, electrical systems including starters and alternators, HVAC systems, steering systems, electronics to include ECM's, ECU's, sensors, engine bolt on items such as turbos, fan clutches, injectors, cooling system, brake systems including ABS, suspension systems, complete assemblies, turbo chargers and fuel systems.
- Strong knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
- Have working knowledge of shop equipment, such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, and lift operation.
- Must be able to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
