Our floral team creates stunning arrangements for everyday moments, special occasions, weddings, and sympathy tributes. We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and passionate experienced florist to join our team part-time. Key Responsibilities
- Design and create fresh floral arrangements, bouquets, and specialty pieces that align with Green Oasis Gardens’ style.
- Assist customers with floral orders, providing excellent service and creative suggestions.
- Process and care for fresh flower inventory, ensuring quality and longevity.
- Prepare arrangements for walk-in customers, deliveries, events, and holidays.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the floral department, including new offerings, promotions, and community outreach.
- Assist with marketing efforts: social media content, in-store displays, and promotional campaigns to showcase floral products.
- Support and participate in events, workshops, expos, funeral home collaborations, and weddings to highlight floral services.
- Collaborate with the team on growing and harvesting in-house flowers for unique seasonal designs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inspiring floral workspace.
Qualifications
- 2 years of floral design experience (shop or event-based preferred).
- Strong knowledge of flower care, handling, and current floral trends.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, especially during holidays.
- Creative eye for design with attention to detail and color balance.
- Flexible availability, including some weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
