Position: Human Resources Consultant

Location: Orange County, CA

Pay: $100,000/year

Experience: 5 to 8 years of professional HR experience.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field required.

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift

Greene Resources is seeking an Human Resources Consultant to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Provide HR consulting support on wage and hour, leave of absence, workers’ compensation, and employee relations matters.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws, particularly California regulations.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients and employees regarding policies, benefits, and payroll compliance.
• Manage billable work, track time accurately, and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Conduct HR assessments and prepare detailed reports and recommendations for clients.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure overall satisfaction.
• Monitor and respond to compliance inquiries, prioritizing and escalating sensitive matters when appropriate.
• Document and organize communications and HR records effectively.
  
  

Position Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge of California employment law.
• HR certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organization.
• Professional interpersonal and client relationship management skills.
