Job Description:
- Provide HR consulting support on wage and hour, leave of absence, workers’ compensation, and employee relations matters.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws, particularly California regulations.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients and employees regarding policies, benefits, and payroll compliance.
- Manage billable work, track time accurately, and identify opportunities for additional services.
- Conduct HR assessments and prepare detailed reports and recommendations for clients.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure overall satisfaction.
- Monitor and respond to compliance inquiries, prioritizing and escalating sensitive matters when appropriate.
- Document and organize communications and HR records effectively.
- Advanced knowledge of California employment law.
- HR certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization.
- Professional interpersonal and client relationship management skills.
