Consultant

I’m looking for a public relations professional to join the Integrity PR team as a consultant, working across a variety of clients and helping develop and execute strategic communications campaigns.

This opportunity is well suited to someone with 2–5 years of public relations experience who brings strong writing skills, sound judgment, initiative, and the ability to turn client objectives into thoughtful, measurable campaigns. Consumer technology PR experience is required.

Candidates based in the Los Angeles area are strongly preferred, as in-person client meetings and participation in local events are important parts of the role.

What you’ll do

• Help develop and execute strategic PR campaigns, including research, objectives, audience identification, messaging, tactics, and evaluation.
• Write and edit press releases, media pitches, talking points, briefing materials, social content, and other client communications.
• Research relevant journalists and outlets, build targeted media lists, and conduct personalized media outreach.
• Support consumer technology product launches, reviewer outreach, and product review programs.
• Participate in client meetings, contribute ideas, and provide clear updates on progress and results.
• Coordinate campaign timelines, deliverables, and media opportunities across multiple accounts.
• Monitor coverage and industry developments, evaluate results against campaign objectives, and recommend improvements.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications.
• Approximately 2–5 years of relevant public relations experience, including experience developing and executing strategic campaigns.
• Demonstrated consumer technology PR experience, with the ability to translate product features into clear, audience-relevant benefits.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and AP style skills.
• Experience pitching journalists and securing relevant earned media coverage.
• Familiarity with media research, monitoring, and reporting tools.
• Understanding of how earned media, social media, and owned content support communications objectives.
• Strong organization and project management skills, including the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Professionalism, attention to detail, responsiveness, and sound ethical judgment.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the Integrity PR team and client contacts.

Preferred qualifications

• Certificate in Principles of Public Relations.
• Communications experience in nonprofit organizations, tourism, and/or professional sports.
• Agency experience supporting multiple clients.
• Established relationships with consumer technology journalists and reviewers.
