Position Summary
GNEM is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Technician to support warehouse and material handling operations at our advanced lithium-ion battery separator manufacturing facility. The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and transporting raw materials, production supplies, finished goods, and spare parts while maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
This role plays a critical part in supporting uninterrupted production by ensuring timely material availability and efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and shipping documents.
- Load, unload, move, and store materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Accurately perform inventory transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP system.
- Pick, stage, package, and prepare materials and finished products for shipment.
- Support production by delivering materials to manufacturing lines according to production schedules.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory reconciliation.
- Label and organize inventory to maintain proper material identification and traceability.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization using 5S principles.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and battery-related materials.
- Assist with incoming inspections and report damaged or non-conforming materials.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency and inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Logistics teams to resolve material-related issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation for shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1–3 years of warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience.
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Basic computer skills with experience using ERP or inventory management systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must be bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese.
