What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at LaRock's?
While working here you will experience many of the different aspects of our warehousing operation. Though all employees start out picking orders to help learn our products and warehouse, other aspects of our operation include but are not limited to double checking orders for accuracy, shipping/processing the orders, and sealing boxes. We like for every employee to be able to work anywhere in our operation to help with your growth within our company as well as provide flexibility in scheduling. Unlike many warehousing operations, we offer a climate controlled environment year round. We are what most consider to be a 9am-5pm job though those hours are by no means a guarantee. We are, however, closed on the weekends!
Our warehouse is in number order and the picking-slips are also in number order. You must be able to read numbers accurately to effectively do this job.
We are looking for people that can do some, if not all, of the following: Type with ease, listen and follow instructions, carry packages or orders weighing around 20lbs, and have the ability to communicate with people over the phone.
We are looking for both Part Time and Full Time employees. Full Time Employees are scheduled 35-40 hours/ week, whereas part time is >30 hours.
