Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance:
- Dismantle, clean, and reassemble production and cultivation equipment.
- Use chemicals in proper concentration according to company guidelines.
- Properly label and maintain all chemicals.
- Ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) stations are adequately stocked.
- Periodically clean walls, offices, restrooms, storage areas, and furniture.
- Perform routine heavy cleaning tasks.
- Move heavy equipment and furniture as needed.
- Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas and parking lots.
- Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders.
- Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests.
- Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up.
- Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped.
- Perform other duties as needed/required to meet goals.
- Capacity to take direction.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrates the ability to organize and work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Regard safety as a core value; serve as a role model for other employees, and encourage adherence to safety practices, policies, and procedures.
- Must be able and willing to work overtime, including short-notice requests.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Display professional etiquette and interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch and talk or hear.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Capacity to take direction.
