Production Support

Green Beehive II LLC, a leading cannabis manufacturer in Hillsboro, Oregon, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Lead to join our team. As a Production Lead in our manufacturing facility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality and consistent products in the cannabis industry. This position involves leading kitchen production and operations in the absence of a supervisor, opening and closing the kitchen, and assisting with staff training. The ideal candidate should be meticulous in performing all duties and able to work a flexible schedule.

Production Operations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prep, mix, cook, produce, pour, deposit, pull, and store all facility consumables and products.
• Accurately prepare ingredients, workstations, and equipment for production, conducting regular checks to ensure proper functionality.
• Maintain high-quality standards during shifts, including constant QA/QC of all prepped and produced products in terms of weights, appearance, and flavor profile.
• Effectively manage time and that of the team to stay on schedule and meet daily production expectations.
• Ability to work well with others in high-pressure situations with a sense of urgency.
• Correctly infuse by thoroughly scraping, turning, lifting, and rotating for the appropriate time.
• Accurately read, record, and communicate all kitchen data, counts, measurements, and weights.
  
  

Kitchen Management

• Perform opening and closing duties.
• Ensure proper storage of all facility consumables and products, adhering to safety practices.
• Maintain and comply with sanitation and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work environment.
• Perform visual quality inspections on products, minimizing waste where possible.
  
  

Communication And Training

• Effectively communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company.
• Assist Production Supervisors and Managers in training and coaching Production Support employees on proper procedures, techniques, and compliance protocol.
• Communicate quality or safety discrepancies to Supervisors, Managers, and/or Directors.
• Make recommendations to management regarding personnel evaluation and training of the Production Support team.
  
  

Safety And Compliance

• Ensure a safe working environment.
• Review and communicate daily on all safety-related topics of discussion.
  
  

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist with Packaging responsibilities as required.
• Perform other duties, responsibilities, and activities as assigned or as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• Culinary education is a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards.
• Flexibility to work a flexible schedule.
• Must be 21 or older and possess an OLCC Marijuana Workers permit.
