HR Benefits Generalist
Location: Saginaw, Michigan
Reports to:
Human Resource Director or designee
Basic Job Duties:
Provides daily administrative support to the Human Resources (HR) department. Typing, and editing any necessary documents for the day-to-day operations. Primary duties will be assisting with updating company policies and job descriptions, recruiting and conducting the pre-employment processes, such as a variety of background checks and references. Will be an integral part of the payroll process.
Requirements:
Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing with co-workers. Strong computer skills with experience with basic office equipment. At least a years’ experience in an office environment. A thorough understanding of confidentiality and HIPAA principles is mandatory. A bachelors degree is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years experience in an HR department, healthcare experience is highly recommended.
