Job Title: RN Float position in the clinic
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Licensure/Registry/Certification:
- RN, currently licensed in Michigan.
- CPR certification, we provide if needed.
- Valid MI driver's license with insurance and dependable vehicle.
Requirements:
- Flexibility to work in various areas of Great Lakes PACE depending on the need. Areas can include: clinic, and home visits.
- Extensive RN experience with at least 1 year experience working with the frail and elderly population.
Responsibilities:
- Assessments, planning of care, evaluations and implementing and/or managing care, evaluation and leadership skills.
- Conducting home visits and working in the clinic. Duties can include, administering medications, wound care, injections, reading TB tests and assessing participants complaining of illness. Also assist in the Day Center as needed.
- Leadership- delegates nursing care to the appropriate personnel, integrates cost effective measures, recognizes unit problems and takes responsibility. Complies with hospital expectations.
- Home Visits: Make visits to the home to perform wound care, give injection such as medication or immunizations, reading TB test results and assessment of participants complaining of illness.
