Success in this position includes:

Constantly being observant and attentive to potential safety hazards and working in a safe and responsible manner

Safely driving a truck hauling trash and recycling to landfills or processing facilities
Schedule:

Monday-Friday (occasional Saturdays)
-
Expected hours between 42 -45 per week
Accountabilities include the following:
- Occasional support may be required at other Granger divisions.
- Serving as a commercial driver, including front load, boom/bulk, cart delivery, roll off, transfer barn operation and residential needs rear load truck
- Residential service - pulling rolling carts onto a semi-automated lift and operate hydraulic lift controls to tip cart into truck or lift and tip other containers filled with trash as well as bags of garbage and loose large items into waist-high hopper (or operation an automated side load truck by using a joystick to pick up/dump/replace containers, as well as physically exit truck and toss additional trash items into truck)
Qualifications include the following:

Class B CDL with airbrakes

Good driving record

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Ability to work a physically demanding job

Ability to perform physical requirements of position and pass a physical and drug screen including marijuana (pre-employment and random)
