What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Sports Information Director position at GRAND VIEW UNIVERSITY?
General Purpose of Job:
Supervision and organization for all aspects of Game Management and athletic events. Promote the visibility of Grand View University Athletics and create opportunities for the marketing of Grand View University.
Essential Functions of Job:
- Game Management and athletic event oversight, coordination and supervision
- Supervise and schedule work study students and game management personnel
- Provide sponsorship and fundraising support for the Athletics Department
- Athletics ticketing oversight
- Assist in maintaining athletics websites and social media platforms.
- Production of programs and updated rosters for home events.
- Responsible for statistics and video streaming of home athletic events.
- Assist in compiling and reporting scores and statistics to conference and national office.
- Provide results and statistics to proper outlets for both home and visiting teams.
- Schedule and monitor work study employees and Graduate Assistants.
- Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletics Director

Qualifications:
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree required and related experience preferred
2. Knowledge/experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Excel, Sidearm, Prestosports, and Hootsuite.
3. Graphic design experience preferred.
4. Ability to interact well with students, parents, faculty and staff.
