Responsibilities:
- Classroom and clinical instruction. This position includes a teaching load of 12 credits per semester to align with the candidate’s expertise areas.
- Course development and assessment.
- Evaluation of student progress.
- Serve on University and Nursing Department committees.
- Serve as academic advisors to students.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or in accordance with the Faculty Handbook.

Qualifications:Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Nursing
- Two years of Clinical Nursing experience
- Unrestricted Iowa Nursing License (Individuals who are currently licensed in another state and recognized for licensure in Iowa, pursuant to the nurse licensure compact contained in Iowa code)
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in nursing or plan to pursue a doctorate.
- Teaching experience in the classroom and clinical settings.
