What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Faculty and Practicum Supervisors for Education Department position at GRAND VIEW UNIVERSITY?
The Grand View Practicum Supervisor has the responsibility for assisting, coaching, supervising, and evaluating the student teacher during the semester of student teaching. Supervisors are required to visit and observe every other week for each 8-week placement (students have 2 - placements). Supervisors must also participate in the mid-term evaluation and final evaluation conference with the student teacher and the cooperating teacher. Other responsibilities center on the assessment of the student teaching assignments.
This posting is for the candidate pool for the Education Department. Each semester there are needs for Practicum Supervisors and Adjunct Lecturers. Semesters begin in August, January and May.

Qualifications:Qualifications:
- Previous teaching experience and relevant experience in the subject area are desired.
- PhD preferred, Master's degree in the content area required.
- Specialist Endorsements preferred
