Duties/Responsibilities:


Field Support & Estimating

    • Collaborate with project owners and field technicians to understand project needs and ensure timely delivery of required parts and materials.
    • Research parts and materials to support projects, ensuring compatibility, availability, and cost-effectiveness.
    • Complete estimates for parts, materials, and labor as needed to support project/job needs.
    • Proactively follow up with customers to communicate estimates, answer questions, and ensure alignment with their expectations.
    • Create purchase orders based on approved estimates or technician requests, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project timelines.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliable sourcing, timely deliveries, and favorable pricing.

Logistics and Purchasing Operations

    • Assist with loading and unloading HVACR equipment, parts, and materials.
    • Log delivery of freight using internal processes to assist with the freight processes of receiving and shipping HVACR equipment, parts, and materials.
    • Receive and track shipments, verifying accuracy, condition, and completeness of incoming goods.
    • Support inventory control by organizing, storing, and retrieving HVACR components and materials efficiently.
    • Maintain adequate on-hand stock levels for consumables and frequently used items.
    • Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, including issuing, returning, and disposing of parts and equipment.
    • Assist with routine physical inventory counts, audits, and researching variances, acting as a backup to the Inventory Support Specialist.
    • Perform additional duties assigned to support operations and field service efficiency.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with inventory software and mobile technology.
  • Ability to safely lift and transport heavy items.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with HVACR parts and equipment is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 75 pounds regularly, including HVACR parts, tools, and equipment.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and crouching.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other material handling equipment (training provided if needed).
  • Comfortable working in varying weather conditions while loading/unloading freight or delivering parts to job sites.
  • Ability to climb ladders or access elevated areas when needed.
  • Manual dexterity to handle small parts, tools, and packaging materials.
  • Visual acuity to read labels, part numbers, and inventory documentation.
  • Ability to drive company vehicles for deliveries, sometimes over long distances or in urban traffic.


The Field Support Specialist II is an intermediate-level role that supports field operations through advanced coordination of parts, estimating, purchasing, and logistics. This position works closely with the Customer Service Manager, Operations Manager, and field technicians to ensure timely delivery of materials and efficient project execution, while building on foundational knowledge to take on greater ownership, independent problem-solving, and vendor coordination responsibilities.
This role plays a key part in keeping field operations running smoothly, directly impacting technician efficiency, job profitability, and customer satisfaction. It operates in a fast-paced, team-driven environment where priorities can shift daily and proactive communication is essential.This position is designed for individuals who are ready to expand their technical and operational knowledge and grow into higher levels of responsibility within field operations, estimating, or project support.
